Albany resident Christopher Noto, 39, of Ravena, was charged on Friday, Oct. 11, with assistance from the Troop G Computer Crimes Unit, the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, and the US Department of Homeland Security.
According to Trooper Stephanie O'Neil, Noto's arrest followed an investigation and the execution of a search warrant at his home.
He was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child.
Noto was arraigned at Coeymans Court and released under the supervision of the Albany County Probation Department.
